Following several complaints from parents about teachers offering private tuitions to students, the Sharjah Education Zone issued a circular imposing tough penalties against such teachers. Offering tuitions to students is strictly prohibited by the Ministry of Education, as it affects the quality of education provided at schools and adds more financial burden on parents.

Some teachers reportedly force students to inform their parents that they would have to take tuition classes citing lack of time to complete the syllabus in class.

Mona Shuhail, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Education Zone, said they received several complaints from parents about tuitions being offered to their children in private schools. Based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the authority issued the circular and distributed it to all private and public schools in Sharjah.

The circular warned teachers that giving private tuitions would result in tough penalties including warnings, fines and dismissal. “The education zone recently fined some private schools which were found promoting private tuitions for its students after schools hours,” Shuhail said.

If a teacher is found violating regulations, a written warning is first issued, and if the teacher repeats the offence, the zone instructs the school to terminate the teacher’s services. “The practice (of promoting tuitions), which is increasing at private schools, affects education development and the financial budgets of parents,” she said.

Hessah Al Khajah, Director of Private Schools at the Sharjah Education Zone, said parents and teachers are equally responsible for the practice. Al Khajah urged schools managements to take all efforts to combat it so as to improve the quality of education.

The zone had earlier introduced ‘education strengthening classes’ at a little extra charge to combat private tuitions.

School principals Khaleej Times spoke to said “poor teaching processes” at some schools force parents to opt for private tuition classes. “Some parents can’t afford to pay for private tuitions in addition to the annual school fees,” one principal said. – afkarali@khaleejtimes.com

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I was very happy to hear about your organization and was very impressed with your activities. I have a 3.5 years old daughter who didn’t speak till now. After making sure that everything is ok with her regarding her hearing and that she is free of autism, her speech therapist advised us to take her to a good nursery to spend some time with other kids to catch some words and habits from them. We live in Sharjah – al-Majaz area. I will appreciate it too much if you can recommend a suitable nursery for my daughter.

Thank you for your co-operation and best regards

I need some feedback from momz, about the schools.

    * Westminister School
    * Cambridge International School
    *Winchester School

My son will be joining the academic year, 2011/2012 to KG1 to any of these schools or other schools if anyone can recommend. I am looking for UK National Curriculam , Since I am from Sri Lanka, that suits us better.

MOreover, my second son will start KG1 during the same period as well. Both will go to the same school. Thanks in advance, awaiting feedbacks and suggestions /recommendations….

    • nilangi says:

It is happy to hear that you are going to settle down in Dubai.Whatever school you choose, just check the school rating as KHDA School Inspection Reports 2009-2010.

      http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/uae/education/khda-school-inspection-reports-2009-2010-1.624797

This also will help you to get a basic idea about the schools.Begin a teahcer ,would like to say all the school have their own way of doing…postive comments as well as negative comments.

I work in a company offering a skills assessment service using dermatoglyphics technology (for ages 3 and above). Following a 15 minutes fingerprint capture session, a detailed report is generated highlighting the child’s personality type, their preferred style and speed of learning and their preferred method of communication.

The assessment process helps to discover the child’s inborn strengths and determine whether they are more creative thinkers (naturally born artists or musicians), logical thinkers (good with numbers) or prefer learning through action and movement.

The result of this assessment helps parents to identify which extracurricular activities would be most suitable for their kids based on their inborn skills and potential to learn. For more information, please call me on 04 360 3296 / 052 647 6921

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword..

Knowing how to make a basic vanilla ice cream will serve you well in life. This is what makes a slice of birthday cake, a wedge of Thanksgiving pie, or even a simple banana split on a hot summer night feel extra special and extra memorable. Plus, once you master this recipe, you’re well on your way to inventing your own flavors and making the ice cream of your dreams.

Vanilla ice cream with an egg custard base isn’t particularly hard, but it can feel that way the first time you make it. Here’s a straightforward guide through all the tricky steps so you know exactly what to do and what to expect along the way.

Making Ice Cream with an Egg Custard Base
This ice cream is a classic, if not the classic. It uses egg yolks to both thicken the milky ice cream base and give the finished ice cream a richer taste and creamier mouthfeel.

The more egg yolks you use, the richer and creamier your ice cream — use fewer yolks and your ice cream will taste lighter and more milky, but will also be a bit less smooth. Personally, I like a ratio of four yolks to three cups of dairy. I think this makes a solidly decadent ice cream without making it taste overly eggy.

    Watch Out for Curdled Eggs
Using eggs to make ice cream, while delicious, does requires some caution. When heating the eggs along with the milk and sugar to make the base, it’s easy for your attention to wander, resulting in little curdles of cooked egg in your ice cream.

But never fear! There are a few built-in safeties to prevent this from happening:

Temper the eggs: After warming the milk on its own, whisk just a small scoop of the hot milk into the eggs and sugar. This warms the eggs just a bit, making them less likely to curdle when you stir them into the pot with the rest of the milk and then start cooking everything over direct heat.
Heat the base slow and low: Once you start cooking the ice cream base — the mix of milk, eggs, and sugar — on the stove, keep the heat low and heat everything slowly. Keep stirring, scraping the bottom and sides of the pot, so the mixture cooks evenly and the bottom doesn’t scorch. It’s tempting to turn up the heat to make this step go faster, but try to resist! Keep slowly cooking the base until it’s thickened enough to coat the back of the spoon.
Strain the finished custard: As a final fail-safe, just in case your eggs did start to curdle a little, strain the base before churning the ice cream. Any accidental bits of curdled egg will get caught in the strainer — not in your ice cream.
This is all to say, don’t let the fear of curdled eggs keep you from making this ice cream. Keep your wits about you and an eye on the pot, and you’ll be fine.

If eggs just aren’t your thing, try this egg-free version:

The development of proper spatial awareness involves an understand of how the human body moves and the basic functions of its parts. Babies have little spatial awareness for this reason, though it is thought that everyone is born with a certain amount of innate spatial awareness. Causes of Pimple You Should know

For many people, pimples are just an impression of skin bothering that outcomes from a disease of the oil delivering organs in the skin. By and large, the organs get to be aggravated some way or another and just start to deliver an excessive amount of oil, which brings about an immersion of the organ.

This abundance oil traps microscopic organisms typically found on the skin and reasons the contamination and the subsequent discharge generation. This is the thing that causes the genuine raised zone on the skin.

    What is Pimple?

A pimple is a little pustule or papule. Pimples are little skin injuries or aggravations of the skin – they are sebaceous organs which are contaminated with microbes, swell up, and afterward top off with discharge. Pimples are commonly known as zits or spots.

We believe that vulnerability disclosure is a two-way street. Vendors, as well as researchers, must act responsibly. This is why Google adheres to a 90-day disclosure deadline. We notify vendors of vulnerabilities immediately, with details shared in public with the defensive community after 90 days, or sooner if the vendor releases a fix. That deadline can vary in the following ways:

If a deadline is due to expire on a weekend or US public holiday, the deadline will be moved to the next normal work day.
Before the 90-day deadline has expired, if a vendor lets us know that a patch is scheduled for release on a specific day that will fall within 14 days following the deadline, we will delay the public disclosure until the availability of the patch.
When we observe a previously unknown and unpatched vulnerability in software under active exploitation (a “0day”), we believe that more urgent action—within 7 days—is appropriate. The reason for this special designation is that each day an actively exploited vulnerability remains undisclosed to the public and unpatched, more devices or accounts will be compromised. Seven days is an aggressive timeline and may be too short for some vendors to update their products, but it should be enough time to publish advice about possible mitigations, such as temporarily disabling a service, restricting access, or contacting the vendor for more information. As a result, after 7 days have elapsed without a patch or advisory, we will support researchers making details available so that users can take steps to protect themselves.
CVEs are an industry standard for uniquely identifying vulnerabilities. To avoid confusion, it’s important that the first public mention of a vulnerability should include a CVE. For vulnerabilities that go past deadline, we ensure that a CVE has been pre-assigned.

As always, we reserve the right to bring deadlines forwards or backwards based on extreme circumstances. We remain committed to treating all vendors strictly equally. Google expects to be held to the same standard.

This policy is strongly in line with our desire to improve industry response times to security bugs, but also results in softer landings for bugs marginally over deadline. We call on all researchers to adopt disclosure deadlines in some form, and feel free to use our policy verbatim if you find our record and reasoning compelling. Creating pressure towards more reasonably-timed fixes will result in smaller windows of opportunity for blackhats to abuse vulnerabilities. In our opinion, vulnerability disclosure policies such as ours result in greater overall safety for users of the Internet.
